DIET SCAN · ENGLISH GOVERNING LEGAL VERSION
Effective and last updated: 3 August 2026
Cookie Policy
Diet Scan uses essential browser storage and, only with your permission, Google Analytics. Analytics is disabled by default until you make a choice.
Essential storage
Essential cookies or local storage support authentication, security, load balancing, locale, app preferences and your consent record. They are required to provide the service and cannot be disabled through our consent panel.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may store identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* and process page, device, browser, approximate location and interaction information. Typical cookie lifetime is up to two years, subject to our configuration and your browser settings.
Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, health-profile values, diagnoses, allergies, meal descriptions, photographs or analysis results to Google Analytics.
First-party product analytics
After analytics consent, Diet Scan records limited events such as page views, completed analyses, meal logging and checkout starts to understand whether the service works. These events contain only fixed event names and limited operational categories; they exclude health profiles, meal content, photographs, support-message text and analysis results.
Your choice
You may accept, reject or later change analytics consent. Rejecting analytics does not prevent use of the core service. Changing your choice stops future optional collection; you may also delete existing cookies in your browser.
Google information
Google may act as our processor for Analytics under its data-processing terms. Its services may involve international transfers protected by the mechanisms described in our Privacy Policy. See Google’s own privacy and Analytics documentation for further information.
